VEEC: A Living Example of the Framework in Action
The Vaccine Equity Education Coalition (VEEC) began with a bold goal:
“Every student — regardless of race, zip code, or background — deserves access to accurate, culturally relevant public health education and leadership opportunities.”
Challenges included system fragmentation, misinformation, and engaging multigenerational audiences.
VEEC applied the PFSC model:
- Clarified its vision with education and health leaders
- Built trust with school systems and community orgs
- Co-created student ambassador programs and public health events
- Scaled through storytelling and measurable outcomes
Results:
